Would you charge for a taxi service?
And would you stop where normal taxis do?
Hi, Many thanks for your comments.
Yes, the trikes we intend on using will have pedal assist units built in. This will allow our riders to ferry 350kg up a 20% gradient. That’s equivalent to a small washing machine or 3 students!!
Ideally, we’d love to be able to supply a FREE taxi service to all, but we are well aware that the ‘traditional’ taxi operators will not like it if we gave our services for free when they charge for their services.
We’re trying to work with Sheffield City Council to have in place designated pedicab ranks within a 3 miles radius of the city centre.

saw this on the star website, sounds interesting. How will you get up hills like the ski village??
